Porsche Holding Salzburg (hereinafter referred to as PHS), a 100% Volkswagen AG group company, is the largest automotive trading company in Europe. PHS established PAIG Japan Automobile Investment GK (hereinafter referred to as PAIG Japan) in 2018, which is fully responsible for all operational business activities and dealer network development of PHS in Japan.
PAIG Japan inherited the operation of Volkswagen Japan Sales in January 2019 and the operation of Audi Japan Sales in April 2020 from the importers. In addition, as a new entity, Exclusive Cars Japan GK was established, in order to run the Porsche Brand retail business, from April 2022. PAIG Japan currently operates 11 Volkswagen dealerships, 12 Audi dealerships, and 2 Porsche dealerships.
